Mineral Insulated Strip Heaters
Hampton's Mineral Insulted Strip Heaters is a thin, responsive heater setting unmatched standards for performance and durability. It makes use of the most advanced heater construction techniques, including embedding a nickel-chromium element wire in an exclusive mineral insulation.
Hampton's exclusive mineral insulation is a material with a much higher thermal conductivity than the mica and hard ceramic insulators used in conventional heaters. This thin layer of insulation brings the element wire closer to the heater sheath, resulting in easy heat flow from the element wire to the sheath. This allows the wire to run cooler than conventional heaters and increases heater life.
Ceramic Strip Heaters
- Hampton Ceramic Strip Heaters offer high temperature performance in a rugged, contamination resistant stainless steel sheath.
- They are bolt-in replacements for many of the Chromalox, GE, Watlow, and other stripheaters

- Max watt density = 75 W/linear inch. 120 if 2sides in contact with heated part.
- Maximum Wattage: 120 Watts per inch of heated length, 75 if only one side is contacting the surface.
- 1½” wide, 5/16” or 3/8” thick, up to 72” long..
- 5/16” x ½” mounting slots (center to center= overall length - 3/4).
